The original/first
print poster bears a union printing logo (#221) in the lower left
corner. This poster measures approx. 14" X 20". The second print poster, an authorized reprint, was printed on a porous paper stock (not smooth to the touch). The union printing credit does not appear. It was printed by West Coast Litho, and matches the paper stock of the West Coast Litho postcard, which was printed at the same time (in early 1967). The third print poster, an authorized reprint, was printed on uncoated index stock (smooth to the touch). The union printing credit does not appear. It was printed by Creative Litho, and matches the paper stock of the Creative Litho postcard, which was printed at the same time (no later than 1968). The original handbill was printed on very thin paper prior to the shows, and measures approx. 5 1/2" X 8 1/2". This is the last of the Fillmore handbills that did not exactly match the color scheme of the original posters. The BG 24 postcards were printed twice, once by West Coast Litho (Type A) and once by Creative Litho (Type B). The printing credit appears on the back of the card, so they are easily distinguishable. Both measure approx. 5 1/8" X 8". Bill Graham authorized the printing of all of the Fillmore postcards. |
