"God's Eye"

The original/first print poster exactly matches the color and paper stock of the original postcard.  The blue border is a slightly lighter blue than the reprint poster, and other colors (in the image of the poster) are slightly different as well.  We admit that it is impossible to distinguish the two printings of this poster without having another poster to compare it to.  If you buy a FD 55 first print poster on our website, we will send you a poster that exactly matches the color and paper stock of the original card (cards were not reprinted, so we are sure that you will be receiving an original
poster).  Both the first and second print posters measure approx.  14" x 20".

The second print poster is printed on slightly thinner stock, and has a blue border that does not match the original postcard.  It is a slightly darker blue.  If you buy a second print poster on our website, we will send you a poster that does not match the color or stock of the postcard.  We consider this to be a reprinted (authorized, of course) poster, probably printed in late 1967 (1968 at the latest).

The original postcard was printed prior to the shows, and measures approx. 5 " x 7".  It was printed with two different backs, place stamp here and bulk rate.  If you buy a FD 55 postcard on our website, you will receive a card with a place stamp here back.  If you are interested in a card with a bulk rate back, please send us an email or give us a call.
