At this point, Bill Graham had begun experimenting with marquee style concert posters for his non-Fillmore shows.  He used this style frequently for Fillmore East shows, and apparently liked the effect (either that, or he liked the fact that he didn't have to pay an artist for the poster design).  The shows promoted on this poster are very historic shows.  They are the last of the Hendrix/Bill Graham shows, having taken place just four months before his death.  They are also widely considered as one of Jimi's best live performances.  A very young James Taylor shares the bill for these shows at the Berkeley Community Theater.

The poster we offer on the website is an original/first print poster (this poster was not reprinted), and measures approx.  14" x 20".  Given the going price on other original Hendrix posters, this baby is a real value.
